Front Desk Agents play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests by greeting, registering, and providing exemplary service throughout their stay. They are responsible for efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience that maximizes room revenue and occupancy.

  • Maintain compliance with all Aimbridge Hospitality policies, standards, and regulations to foster safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk, maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard effectively, ensuring performance standards are consistently met.
  • Address requests for information, mail, and messages in a courteous manner.
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with team members and other hotel departments.
  • Stay informed about rates, packages, special promotions, and in-house groups; understand restricted dates.
  • Accurately gather information when processing room reservations.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Aimbridge Hospitality policies and hospitality terminology.
  • Support emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Conduct check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and courtesy.
  • Master all relevant components of the Front Desk computer system.
  • Ensure the proper logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
  • Use appropriate two-way radio etiquette when communicating with colleagues.
  • Deliver items such as luggage, newspapers, and requested amenities to guests as needed.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of property amenities, special events, and local attractions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting colleagues in various hotel areas and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Manage sensitive information and access areas of the hotel with care and responsibility.
