A Day in the Life of an Assistant General Manager:

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with KFC standards and policies.
  • Lead and manage team members, assisting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) with training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee inventory management, maintain food safety standards, and address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Manage financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense management.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to formulate growth strategies and uphold brand integrity.

Requirements: What You Bring to the Team:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in a food service or retail environment, including responsibility for Profit & Loss, preferably in a quick-service restaurant (QSR).
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights per week.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, stack, push, or pull heavy objects, stand and walk for extended periods, navigate compact spaces safely, and operate restaurant equipment.

Additional Information:

Compensation for the Assistant General Manager position is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The specific salary will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other legally permitted factors, and will be discussed during the hiring process. The anticipated starting compensation for new hires across different regions is as follows:

  • All other locations: $12.00 to $22.00 per hour
  • State of Maryland: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
  • State of New York: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
  • New York City: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
  • Cincinnati, OH: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
  • Toledo, OH: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
