Position Summary
- Housekeeping: Responsible for executing cleaning duties, including dusting, damp mopping floors in assigned areas, sanitizing bathrooms, and maintaining the cleanliness of patient room furniture, sitting areas, and dining room furniture. Duties also include the removal and disposal of trash and other related tasks as assigned.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions, and promptly reporting any equipment or cleaning product needs to a supervisor. Follow established safety and quality guidelines while ensuring a sanitary environment through infection control and universal precautions.
- Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, ensuring timely completion of assigned duties according to the established schedule while responding effectively to the paging system.
- Customer Experience: Positively represent HCSG by demonstrating courtesy and cooperation towards supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- A demonstrated positive attitude with the capacity to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
- After completing the necessary training, exhibit leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently while ensuring safety.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must possess reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as mandated by State, Local, and/or customers is required.
- Physical ability to lift/carry 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be willing to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Ability to work in proximity to food and cleaning products.
- Residency in the service area is required.
