Position Summary:

• Housekeeping: Perform various cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and maintaining cleanliness of patient rooms and common areas. Responsibilities also include trash disposal and related tasks as assigned.
• Safety: Utilize required protective gear and adhere to safety precautions, ensuring proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions. Timely reporting of equipment or cleaning product needs to supervisors is expected, along with compliance to infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, meeting designated schedules for cleaning areas and responding to paging systems promptly.
• Customer Experience: Uphold the HCSG reputation by adhering to instructions and maintaining courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors, colleagues, and client staff.
• Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Upon completion of training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must consistently attend work as scheduled and punctually.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as mandated by State, Local, and/or customers.
• Physical ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Capable of performing routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
• Must reside within the service area.
