Job description:

Key Responsibilities:
– Professionally greet all members and guests upon arrival.
– Scan membership IDs as members enter the facility.
– Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
– Address member inquiries, concerns, and discrepancies with efficiency.
– Update member accounts as necessary.
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
– Availability to work various shifts, including opening, closing, and mid-day.
– Conduct tours for prospective members.
– Deliver exemplary customer service to members, potential members, and guests.
– Assist other departments with related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
– A minimum of one year of experience in customer service or a related field.
– High school diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
– A reliable, professional demeanor; computer literate; energetic and friendly.
– An interest in health, fitness, or sports is preferred.
– Outstanding interpersonal skills; must be approachable, vibrant, and outgoing.
– Strong communication abilities, both in person and via email and phone.

Essential Physical Requirements:
– Ability to perform all essential physical aspects of the role, including prolonged standing, sitting, frequent walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending at or above shoulder height.
– Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting weights of up to 50 pounds as needed.
