Job description:
The Front Desk Concierge plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for residents, staff, guests, and vendors. This position is responsible for efficiently answering and transferring incoming calls, providing accurate information, directions, and necessary assistance as needed. Additionally, the Concierge will carry out various clerical tasks as assigned and adhere to established policies and procedures, as well as specific instructions from the Director of Plant Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
– Opening and closing the front desk and ensuring the secure handling of all files, keys, and office equipment.
– Clearly and promptly communicating messages and materials to the appropriate parties within the business office.
– Accepting and accurately recording payments, reservations, appointments, and cancellations as directed.
– Confirming transportation schedules and event registrations with residents.
– Greeting and assisting all individuals entering the community in a courteous manner, helping to maintain a positive image of the community.
– Participating in in-service training and educational sessions as assigned.
– Performing other specific duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
– Responding to emergencies or natural disasters as required, following directives from the Director of Plant Operations.
Qualifications for this position include a high school diploma (preferred), proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, and possessing a valid Michigan Driver License. The candidate must also be able to obtain CPR/AED certification and demonstrate high proficiency in various computer applications.
This is a full-time position on the 3rd shift, totaling 32 hours per week, from midnight to 8:00 AM on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.00.
