Job description:

Home Instead is seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers, referred to as ‘Care Professionals’, to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the capacity for care within our communities. The services we provide are designed to support aging adults in maintaining their independence at home while addressing the challenges that come with aging, all with dignity, care, and compassion.

Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks and preparing meals
  • Reminding clients about medication schedules and appointments
  • Assisting with personal grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence care
  • Offering specialized care for clients living with Alzheimer’s disease

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to treat and care for seniors and their belongings with dignity and respect
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality for assigned shifts
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner
