Position Summary

  • Housekeeping: Responsible for performing housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning patient and common area furniture. Duties also include the removal and disposal of trash and other related tasks as assigned.
  • Safety: Must utilize appropriate protective gear and responsibly mix and use cleaning solutions according to safety standards. Prompt reporting of equipment or cleaning product issues to supervisors is essential. Adherence to infection control and universal precautions policies is required to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and timely arrival, ensuring the completion of assigned cleaning areas as per schedule and responding to the paging system promptly.
  • Customer Experience: Actively represent HCSG in a positive manner by following instructions and maintaining courteous relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Engage in positive, respectful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

  • Exhibit a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing routine, repetitive tasks.
  • After completing the necessary training, demonstrate leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Reliable attendance as scheduled is required.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated by local, state, and customer requirements is mandatory.
  • Capability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods is required.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently and work around food and cleaning agents.
  • Residence within the service area is a requirement.
