Job description:

Boyne Resorts is seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our Reservations team as Customer Care Agents. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while managing reservations and tee times for our three Michigan resorts: The Highlands, Boyne Mountain, and The Inn at Bay Harbor. This position serves as an excellent entry point into a career as a Reservations Sales Agent for the right candidate.

In this dynamic role, your communication style will play a vital part in conveying our unique story and crafting an enticing vision of our guests’ experiences. A lively enthusiasm is essential to thrive in this position. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, we operate seven days a week; however, we offer flexible scheduling options. This includes the potential for four 10-hour workdays, allowing for an enjoyable three-day weekend.

Responsibilities:
As a Reservations Customer Care Agent, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Reserving tee times for ten golf courses in Michigan operated by Boyne.
  • Inputting reservations for convention bookings.
  • Assisting customers with inquiries and modifications to their existing reservations.
  • Maintaining profiles for potential and current guests.
  • Delivering high-quality service to every customer by employing the appropriate language and phone etiquette.
  • Posting guest deposits.
  • Utilizing computerized reservation systems to make adjustments to hotel bookings and issue confirmations.
  • Offering concierge services with comprehensive knowledge of the property and local attractions, including dining, entertainment, events, and navigation.
  • Performing various back-office duties such as report generation and room assignments.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess basic computer and internet skills. Strong keyboard proficiency is highly recommended, as multiple software systems will be used concurrently. Familiarity with SpringerMiller, Marriott software, and/or Salesforce is preferred, but not mandatory.

The starting pay rate is $16 per hour, with opportunities for overtime available. Candidates must be willing to travel to resort properties for training as needed. We have job opportunities available in both Wixom and Petoskey.
