As a Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our stores, responsible for greeting and assisting customers with warmth and professionalism from the moment they arrive. This role requires maintaining organized patient records and ensuring that appointment schedules function smoothly. You will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring that both staff and customers remain on track. This position demands prompt and courteous service, both over the phone and in person.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Facilitate a smooth flow of customers throughout the store.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision standards.
  • Process and accurately interpret managed care plans, acquiring necessary documentation from insurance providers as needed.
  • Provide customers with clear and accurate information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
  • Organize and file patient records daily, and prepare them for upcoming appointments.
  • Monitor order status and inform customers of any updates or delays.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area stocked with essential materials.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, while keeping an inventory of office supplies.
  • Engage actively in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar capacity is preferred, though not required.
  • 0-2 years of related experience or training is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with handling multiple phone lines is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills are a must.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
