Job description:

Responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations within the hotel, while consistently striving to deliver exceptional guest service and financial profitability. Your role encompasses the following key responsibilities, which must be executed to the highest standards:

Essential hospitality practices, including initiating conversation, maintaining eye contact, and engaging in polite dialogue when time permits, must be observed at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including all tables and chairs.
  • Restock the dining room and side stations with tableware, flatware, utensils, condiments, and linens.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of items in side stations during operating hours.
  • Prepare all beverages required for service, including coffee, iced tea, and hot water.
  • Greet guests upon their arrival and seating.
  • Reset tables with fresh linens and arrange settings according to the meal period.
  • Collect food from the kitchen and distribute it to side stations.
  • Assist servers in providing service to guests.
  • Pour water and refill coffee and tea cups as needed.
  • During peak times, support servers by serving food and beverages to guests.
  • Perform opening duties for the outlet, including setting tables and arranging chairs.
  • Clean and stock side stations while ensuring that supplies are replenished.
  • Empty and clean food preparation carts as required.
  • Maintain and clean the coffee urn and bread warmer.
  • Return soiled linens to the laundry facility.
  • Collect clean linens and deliver them to the restaurant, room service, or banquet room.
