As a Field Service Representative I, based in Plymouth, MI, you will play a vital role in our mission at Solventum, where we focus on enabling better, smarter, and safer healthcare to enhance lives. In this position, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that healthcare professionals have access to the technologies that enhance patient care.

In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling the needs of our healthcare clients through the delivery, pickup, and maintenance of state-of-the-art medical device equipment. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to develop and nurture excellent relationships with our customers. Additionally, you will oversee inventory management for various products, parts, disposables, and supplies, as well as ensure the proper cleaning, processing, and quality control of medical devices. Daily tasks will also include maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and managing the transportation of equipment using company vehicles.

As you collaborate with a diverse and innovative team, you will have the chance to make a significant impact by:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and hospital staff.
  • Preparing medical devices, disposables, and documentation for delivery by thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting equipment.
  • Managing inventory control, locating any misplaced items as needed.
  • Safely loading and unloading medical equipment from company vehicles.
  • Participating in training sessions and business functions that may involve commercial air travel.

This position involves driving a company vehicle; therefore, candidates hired will undergo a pre-employment and ongoing review of their motor vehicle history.

To excel in this role from day one, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • One (1) year of customer-facing experience in any private, public, government, or military setting.
  • A current, valid Driver’s License.

Further qualifications that could enhance your success in this role include:

  • An associate degree or higher.
  • Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position as assessed in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
