We are currently seeking a DOT Lighting Technician with commercial lighting and bucket truck experience to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage lighting projects, including maintenance and service work
  • Troubleshoot lighting and minor electrical issues
  • Oversee lighting inventory
  • Conduct quality control testing and troubleshooting
  • Work with HID, fluorescent, and LED lighting systems
  • Collaborate with store and facilities managers, as well as maintenance department personnel
  • Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of previous experience in commercial lighting
  • Proficient understanding of lighting materials and applications
  • Experience with exterior lighting and bucket-boom truck operations
  • Compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines is essential
  • Proficient in HID, fluorescent, and LED lighting technologies
  • Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving moderately heavy objects
  • Ability to navigate ladders safely
  • Strong computer skills
  • Possession of reliable transportation and essential hand tools
  • Must possess bucket truck experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Willingness to travel and availability for night, weekend, and overtime work
  • Commitment to maintaining strict safety standards and wearing necessary safety equipment
