Position Summary

• Housekeeping: Execute cleaning and housekeeping duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors in designated areas. Ensure bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized—including sinks, tubs, floors, and commodes. Perform daily sanitization of patient room furniture, sitting areas, and dining room setups. Handle trash removal and other related duties as assigned.
• Safety: Utilize protective gear throughout all responsibilities. Ensure the proper and safe mixing and application of cleaning solutions, following all safety guidelines. Promptly report equipment or cleaning supply issues to supervision. Maintain established safety standards and quality guidelines while ensuring continuous infection control and compliance with universal precautions.
• Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and timely arrival. Complete assigned cleaning tasks within the scheduled timeframe and respond promptly to the paging system.
• Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and fostering courteous collaboration with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
• Resident Experience: Engage with residents, staff, and facility visitors in a positive, pleasant, and tactful manner.

Qualifications

• Exhibit a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Upon successful completion of training, demonstrate leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must consistently arrive at work punctually and as scheduled.
• Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as mandated by State, Local, and/or Customers is required.
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, as well as push and pull similar weights, while standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to perform continuous routine tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is a requirement.
