Position Summary

  • Housekeeping: Execute housekeeping and cleaning tasks, including dusting and damp mopping floors in designated areas, sanitizing bathrooms, and daily cleaning of patient room and dining furniture. Responsible for the removal and disposal of trash and other assigned duties.
  • Safety: Properly utilize protective gear in accordance with safety protocols. Responsible for the safe mixing and application of cleaning solutions and reporting any equipment or cleaning supply issues to a supervisor promptly. Ensure compliance with established safety and quality standards while following infection control procedures for a sanitary environment.
  • Punctuality: Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctual arrivals, completing assigned cleaning areas as scheduled and responding promptly to paging systems.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and maintaining courteous, cooperative interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Cultivate positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

  • Maintain a positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • After completing necessary training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently while ensuring safety.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must consistently arrive at work as scheduled and on time.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as mandated by State, Local, and/or Customers.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and push/pull similar weight; must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of performing routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
  • Must reside within the service area.
