AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16.03 for a Ward Secretary position in Dearborn, MI, is generally considered below the average for this role in similar urban areas. Typically, Ward Secretaries or comparable clerical roles in healthcare settings can expect to earn between $18 to $25 per hour depending on factors such as experience, specific job requirements, and the institution’s size. Given the cost of living in the Detroit metropolitan area, this rate may not be competitive, potentially affecting job attraction and retention. Therefore, employers may need to reassess their compensation to ensure it aligns with industry standards and local living costs.
