Job description:

The Sherwin-Williams Management and Sales Training Program is a dynamic, entry-level opportunity designed to equip you for a Store Management role within 18 to 24 months. Emphasizing our commitement to a promote-from-within culture, successful candidates will have the chance to advance to an Assistant Store Manager position following the completion of a rigorous 6 to 8-week training program.

This position entails a standard work schedule of 44 hours per week, including possible evenings and weekends. Throughout the program, you will work closely with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing essential leadership and strategic input for store operations. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of store operations, clients, and internal strategies, thereby appreciating your influential role in the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required prior to program commencement.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials, with or without reasonable accommodation, frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Experience in a leadership role or supervising teams for at least one (1) year.
  • Previous experience in a team-oriented environment, including work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
  • Familiarity with selling paint and related products.
  • Experience with timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, including Spanish, is an asset.
