Job description:
Responsibilities:
– Manage and maintain Windows infrastructure in both on-premises locations and public cloud environments.
– Oversee the management and maintenance of VMware vSphere virtualization, including vROPS and VCF environments.
– Handle management and maintenance of HyperConverged solutions such as VxRail and Nutanix.
– Manage Windows SQL and file server clusters effectively.
– Administer DNS and DHCP services within the Windows Server environment.
– Address hardware-related issues and coordinate with third-party vendors and OEMs.
– Apply patches and upgrades to maintain security levels using SCCM.
– Ensure maximum uptime in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
– Update server checklists and inventory for accuracy.
– Demonstrate an understanding of multi-geo support environments.

Skill Requirements:
– Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Operating Systems.
– Hands-on experience in VMware SDDC, vSAN, vROPS, and VCF.
– Practical knowledge of HyperConverged solutions such as VxRail and Nutanix.
– Strong capabilities in file and print server management.
– Experienced in patch administration and deployment.
– Ability to fine-tune the Windows Operating System for optimal performance.
– Skilled in troubleshooting clusters and related issues within SAN environments.
– Solid knowledge and troubleshooting abilities for MS Clusters.
– In-depth knowledge of DNS and DHCP servers.
– Proficient in troubleshooting both hardware and operating system-related issues.
– Experience working with OEM hardware (DELL/Cisco/HP/IBM/Chassis) and remote connectivity tools.
– Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
– Scripting skills in batch, PowerShell, etc.
– Experience utilizing multiple patching tools (WSUS & SCCM/Big Fix) and antivirus solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
2. Ensure a positive customer experience through first-call resolution and minimal case rejections/reopens.
3. Participate in the creation of proposals aimed at driving service improvement plans within the EN business.
4. Independently resolve tickets while ensuring the team meets the agreed SLA for volume and response time.
5. Provide support for on-call escalations and Level 3 incident and problem management.
6. Engage in value-added activities such as knowledge base updates, training of new hires, coaching analysts, and participating in hiring drives.
