What We Seek:
– A Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
– A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Data Models and Data Warehousing, building data pipelines with ETL tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
– Familiarity with Data Warehouse infrastructure and analytical tools.
– Proficiency in MS SQL Server, TSQL, query performance tuning, and both normalized and denormalized database schemas.
– Expertise in Azure cloud services, including experience in cloud data engineering.
– Knowledge of integrating multi-cloud services with on-premises technologies.
– Skill in creating data visualization dashboards, particularly with Power BI and Tabular models.
– A commitment to integrity, accuracy, positivity, and dependability.
– Self-motivation and the ability to independently manage multiple projects.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Daily Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with business leaders to understand their requirements, develop use cases, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
– Navigate and integrate multiple enterprise application data sources.
– Create scalable logical and physical data models that support analytical and data science platforms.
– Develop and maintain high-performing ETL/ELT data pipelines, adhering to best practices and maintaining thorough documentation.
– Conduct data profiling, T-SQL, and query tuning, with a solid grasp of database indexes, execution plans, and debugging techniques.
– Develop and maintain tabular models and Power BI dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
– Design and implement quality monitoring solutions for production data and establish alerts to ensure data accuracy, creating a robust data quality framework.
– Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
– Mentor other developers in both technical and functional areas.
– Implement CI/CD processes and oversee production releases.
– Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas for enhancing enterprise technical solutions and infrastructure.
– Communicate effectively with business and technical personnel to address complex data-related challenges.
– Monitor the data warehouse infrastructure and business intelligence processes, identifying opportunities for enhancements.
