Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring strict adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and relevant federal/state regulations.
- Lead teams in both light and heavy housekeeping, as well as laundry aide duties across various shifts.
- Facilitate staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions, ensuring timely completion of all projects and programs.
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment utilizing HCSG computer systems.
- Serve as the liaison between building occupants/administration and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
- Utilize protective gear properly and ensure the safe use of cleaning solutions while adhering to safety protocols.
- Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality, ensuring timely task completion.
- Maintain a positive representation of HCSG through courteous interactions with supervisors, coworkers, client staff, residents, and guests.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision is preferred.
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to accomplish daily tasks.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
- Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push and pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and remain active through standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Capability to perform routine and repetitive tasks consistently.
- Ability to work in proximity to food and cleaning products.
- Proficient in following both oral and written instructions, while performing routine tasks on a daily basis.
- Residency within the service area is required.
