In your role as an Associate Team Leader, you will support a single retail office during the tax season, consistently exceeding client expectations while providing daily operational direction for the tax office. You will begin with a flexible part-time schedule in early December to prepare for the busy season, transitioning to a full-time schedule from January through April.

Your responsibilities will include:

– Supporting the Multi-Unit Team Leader by serving as the onsite point of contact for tax office associates and clients, ensuring quality execution that highlights the value of H&R Block
– Enforcing all service standards and ensuring accountability from tax office associates to guarantee an exceptional client service experience, with necessary escalations to the Multi-Unit Team Leader and District General Manager
– Addressing escalated client service concerns as the onsite point of contact
– Overseeing proper client scheduling and conflict resolution, escalating as needed
– Leading office operations directly from the front desk, providing phone coverage, and engaging with clients to enhance their experience
– Facilitating daily operations to ensure that all tax office associates are scheduled effectively and that tasks are completed on time, with an emphasis on quality and overall objectives
– Leading daily huddles to communicate essential information to office associates

Your qualifications should encompass:

– Prior experience in customer service or a related field
– Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage daily office operations
– A customer-centric mindset paired with excellent communication skills
– Proficiency in computers, with a strong command of MS Office
– Demonstrated independence and the ability to work with minimal supervision
– A positive and proactive attitude
– Flexibility to work a 40-hour week and adapt as needed based on business demands
– A high school diploma or equivalent education level or higher
