Job description:
dnata is currently seeking Passenger Service Agents to join our team at DTW Airport. The starting pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour, and applicants must demonstrate flexibility in their schedules, as we are hiring for part-time shift hours.

As a dnata Passenger Service Agent, you will play a vital role in managing administrative procedures for international passengers before and after flights. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

– Conducting electronic check-in for international travelers
– Verifying necessary documents for both international and domestic flights
– Assigning passenger seating
– Providing passengers with the correct boarding passes for their designated flights
– Verifying ticket and seat reservations
– Matching flight manifests to the on-board passenger count
– Announcing arrivals and departures as needed
– Supplying information to passengers and customers upon request
– Connecting or disconnecting Jetway/stairs as required
– Assisting with baggage tagging and processing baggage claim reports
– Staying updated on flight times throughout your shift
– Liaising with Airlines, Customer Service Representatives, and Ground Handlers
– Performing other duties as assigned

To qualify for this role, you should:

– Hold and maintain a valid state driver’s license along with any FAA or airport-required identification/seals or authorizations
– Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
– Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Exhibit basic computer literacy
– Be able to stand, bend, stoop, and walk for extended periods
– Lift, push, pull, and load up to 70 pounds
– Showcase exceptional customer service skills
