As a Floor Technician at Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will be instrumental in upholding the cleanliness and aesthetic quality of floors within a long-term care facility. Responsibilities:
- Execute floor care tasks such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing surfaces in resident rooms, common areas, and administrative offices.
- Safely and efficiently operate floor care equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of floor care activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in floor care is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to fulfill daily responsibilities.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, push or pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and remain standing, bending, sitting, and walking for extended periods.
- Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
- Must be comfortable working in proximity to food and cleaning products.
- Proficient in following both oral and written instructions required for daily responsibilities.
- Residency within the service area is mandatory.
