As we continue to expand, we are seeking a responsible Delivery Driver to join our Distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders within your designated geographic territory, specifically the Metro Detroit area. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers during deliveries, highlighting the importance of a customer service-oriented approach. When present at our facility, you will collaborate within a team-based distribution environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver products daily to a territory of customers while maintaining communication with the distribution center regarding delivery status.
  • Load and unload delivery orders, ensuring that signatures confirming receipt and other necessary paperwork are completed upon delivery.
  • Engage with customers in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
  • Provide assistance with other projects and responsibilities as needed based on business demands.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company vehicle.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift, slide, and lower packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the geography and roadways within the assigned territory.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to contributing to a customer-centric organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
  • Professional appearance with a keen attention to alertness.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience driving a box truck.
  • Previous experience in distribution delivery.
