Zone #1 drivers have the opportunity to choose from a variety of premium pay plans, tailored for both contract and company drivers.
For Contract Drivers (1099):
- $0.70 per mile, averaging 2,600 to 2,800 miles per week.
- Day rate of $300, averaging $1,600 to $1,800 per week.
- 30% of gross pay, averaging $1,800 per week.
For Company Drivers (W2):
- $0.63 per mile, averaging 2,600 to 2,800 miles per week.
- For a limited time, new W2 drivers can start at a premium rate of $0.63 per mile; the standard base rate is $0.60 per mile (terms apply).
- Day rate of $260, averaging $1,400 to $1,600 per week.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), and per diem.
For Zone #2:
Real Trucking offers contract drivers (1099) a choice of $0.65 per mile or 30% of gross pay. W2 drivers earn $0.60 per mile.

Payment Structure:

CPM (Cents per Mile) for W2 Drivers: $0.60 per mile (payment for all empty and loaded miles).
- Extra Stop: $50 per stop.
- Detention: $15 per hour (applies after the first 2 hours).
- Layover: $125 per day (during truck breakdown).
- CPM for 1099 Drivers: $0.65 per mile (payment for all empty and loaded miles).
- Extra Stop: $50 per stop.

- Layover: $150 per day (during truck breakdown).
Flat Rate Pay:
- W2: $275
- 1099: $325
- Flat rate is applicable provided drivers utilize a minimum of 9 hours per day, including weekends. If a driver works fewer than 9 hours on weekends, pay will be prorated based on hours worked.
W2 Benefits:
- Per diem is offered, allowing a portion of a driver’s compensation to be exempt from taxes—enabling W2 drivers to retain more earnings weekly.
- We cover 50% of medical, dental, and vision premiums.
- One week of paid vacation after one year of service.
1099 Requirements:
- Weekly deduction of $36.75 for OCCAI (occupational insurance).
- An escrow/security deposit of $1,200 ($200 deducted weekly for the first 6 weeks), refundable 30 days after the last day worked, applicable if a driver resigns or takes an extended vacation.
- To work under 1099, drivers must have a recognized business with the IRS (proof of EIN required) and a dedicated business bank account, as payments will not be made to personal accounts. If these requirements are not met, the driver will be classified as W2.
Owner-Operator (O/O) Details:
- Owners retain 80% of earnings, while 20% covers dispatch, trailer usage, maintenance, and cargo insurance.
Additional Charges for Owners:
- Pre-Pass: $5 per week.
- Log Book: $10 per week.
- OCCAI: $36.75 per week.
- Parking: Free at Broadview, fees apply at Hillsborough, NJ.
- Owners are not responsible for road tests—liability rests with them for their trucks.
- An escrow/security deposit of $2,000 ($250 deducted weekly for the first 8 weeks) is refundable 30 days after the last day worked.
Additional Benefits:
- Free installation of Samsara Event Recorder (dash camera) and complementary side/back cameras.
- Optional BOB trailer physical damage and liability insurance available.
- Plates program and IFTA (first $350 covered by Real).

Company Coverage Includes:
- All expenses for company drivers (with the exception of new 1099 drivers).
- For O/O or lease drivers, 50% coverage of expenses, including:
- Hotel, Uber, flight, fuel, and other travel expenses when commencing with the company.
- Drug tests and random drug test expenses are covered.
- Equipment must be returned to the Broadview parking lot to avoid lease/equipment charges—personal belongings should be stored accordingly during vacations.
Referral Bonus: $1,500 (split into $750 after the first full week and $750 after 90 days of employment).
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 23 years.
- A verifiable minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- No more than one moving violation in the last year and no more than two in the past three years. No accidents in the last three years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) record required.
- No DUI or criminal records.
