Our client, an energy services company, is seeking a Communications Specialist for their Jackson, MI location.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan that aligns with the Lean Office strategy and culture.
- Effectively inform and engage employees to achieve transformative outcomes.
- Analyze benchmark data and best practices, both internally and externally, to develop innovative communication strategies that adhere to contemporary communication trends.
- Collaborate in the creation of surveys aimed at measuring the effectiveness of meetings and communications.
- Assist in the formulation of the communications strategy, providing impactful and engaging content that resonates with a diverse audience.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to understand changes and their implications for the target audience.
- Drive communication initiatives across various channels, including email, print, video, social media, and site/field visits.
- Produce internal and external materials across multiple platforms, including leadership meetings, messages, employee town halls, presentations, blogs, videos, and logistical support for site visits.
- Design and develop communication materials that support strategies aimed at executive and employee stakeholders, encompassing emails, posters, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, training materials, FAQs, leader talking points, one-page summaries, newsletters, recognitions, and event themes.
- Create executive-level presentations that clearly articulate process optimization efforts, addressing business challenges and their organizational impacts.
- Develop talking points and visual materials for leaders to effectively communicate and garner support across the organization (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, emails, special announcements).
- Create visual and written summaries to clarify complex business issues, facilitating product and process adoption by end users.
- Coordinate and oversee the timely delivery of communication materials in line with project timelines.
- Assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and content, demonstrating adaptability by refining future approaches as necessary.
- Manage the development and distribution of standard communications on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist in translating ideas, customer feedback, business requirements, and wireframe concepts into user-friendly designs.
- Collaborate in the creation of responsive designs while adhering to technological and time constraints, working closely with the development team to deliver final products.
- Cultivate an understanding of end-user needs and advocate for them throughout the design and development phases.
- Serve as an advocate for colleagues during the research, design, and development processes.
Requirements:
