Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
- Safely and efficiently operate laundry equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- While previous laundry experience is advantageous, it is not required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to execute daily tasks.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is mandatory.
- Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and sustain standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended durations.
- Openness to working with cleaning products is essential.
- Capable of following oral and written instructions and performing routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
- Residency within the service area is required.
