Responsibilities of the Cook:
- Prepare and serve food that is appealing and adheres to established portion control procedures, therapeutic diet requirements, standardized recipes, and special dietary needs while making only authorized food substitutions.
- Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation regulations at all times for all personnel.
- Assist in directing and performing daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Contribute toward the establishment of a food service production line to ensure timely meal preparation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in long-term care or with the geriatric population is preferred.
