Job description:

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 6-8 analysts and coordinators, overseeing the performance and accuracy of field inventory while striving for operational excellence. Your primary focus will be to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including Days in Inventory (DII), to align with overarching business objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Field Inventory Management: Oversee the management and accuracy of field inventory, ensuring adherence to control requirements. Leverage technology and tools to monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement strategies for performance optimization. Manage Days in Inventory (DII) to enhance inventory turnover rates and minimize excess stock.

  • Process Improvement & Reporting: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline inventory management processes. Develop and utilize reports, including Power BI dashboards, to track field inventory performance. Provide regular updates to leadership regarding inventory trends, utilization, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Operational Excellence: Drive initiatives aimed at improving KPIs, including DII, inventory accuracy, and product availability. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize processes and enhance field inventory efficiency.

  • Sales Rep Engagement & Accountability: Partner with sales leadership teams to educate them on inventory management best practices and operational efficiency. Implement tools and processes, such as operational onboarding and performance snapshots, to foster transparency and accountability regarding inventory expenditures and product usage in the field.

  • Cost Savings & Optimization: Lead initiatives to reduce costs and refine field inventory management processes. Successfully implement strategies that generate cost savings while sustaining high levels of operational performance, ensuring the effective utilization of field assets.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field – required
  • 6+ years of relevant experience – required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Power BI – preferred
  • Experience with SAP (ERP) – preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Business analyst experience – preferred
  • Business support experience – preferred
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships within a global organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
