Job description:

The Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of designated areas, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • No prior experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience is advantageous.
  • A minimum of one year in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning and upkeep of buildings and facilities.
  • Adhere to established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Report the need for minor or major repairs or improvements in building operational systems to management.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Maneuver furniture, boxes, and equipment to facilitate cleaning, utilizing hand trucks as necessary.
  • Clean interior glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
  • Wash and replace blinds as needed.
  • Collect and dispose of trash.
  • Maintain outdoor cleanliness, including seasonal tasks such as sweeping paths, raking leaves, mowing grass, and snow removal.
  • Wipe and sanitize tables, chairs, and equipment in dining areas.
  • Service, clean, and equip restrooms.
