AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the competitiveness of the hourly rate for the role of “Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Assistant” in Grandville, MI, it is essential to consider the common pay range for similar positions in the region. As of October 2023, hourly rates for ophthalmic technicians typically range from $15 to $25, depending on experience, qualifications, and specific job responsibilities. Given the location, the demand for healthcare roles, and prevailing wages in Michigan, a rate within or above this range would be considered competitive. Therefore, if the offered hourly rate aligns with this benchmark, it reflects a competitive compensation package that meets industry standards. If the rate falls below this range, it may be less attractive to potential candidates.
