The Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the success of the Admissions and Student Services teams at Arizona College. This position is responsible for providing essential administrative support to staff, faculty, current and prospective students, as well as visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate individual or department when requested.
- Request student transcripts as needed.
- Oversee and proctor admission testing.
- Conduct follow-up calls with students to assist with scheduling and document requests.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach, demonstrating organization, professionalism, and warmth towards prospective and current students.
- Apply knowledge of customer service principles to assess needs, meet quality standards, and evaluate satisfaction levels.
- Accurately take and relay messages, including full name, time of call, reason for call, and return number.
- Provide general information to callers about campus location, directions, website access, and other related inquiries.
- Welcome and guide visitors upon their arrival at the campus.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
- Coordinate the logistics for express mail services, such as FedEx and UPS.
- Assist with various clerical tasks, including photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating as needed.
- Manage student ID badge issuance, including creating new badges and replacing lost ones.
- Submit attendance records as requested.
- Distribute student supplies in accordance with established protocols.
- Craft professional verbal and written communications with limited oversight.
- Uphold confidentiality by strictly adhering to HIPAA, FERPA, and other relevant regulations.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:

- Typing skills of at least 60 words per minute are mandatory.
