AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a “Server” in L’Anse, MI, it’s important to consider local cost of living, the demand for servers in the area, and typical wages in the restaurant industry. Generally, servers in Michigan earn between $10 to $15 per hour, not including tips, which can significantly increase total earnings given that tips are a substantial part of a server’s income. If the rate you have falls within or slightly above this range, it can be considered competitive, especially if the establishment has a strong tipping culture. However, if the rate is significantly lower, it may not align with industry standards, particularly given the rising costs of living. To provide a more precise evaluation, the specific hourly rate and current economic conditions would also be relevant.
