Job Description
Job Title: Housekeeper starting at $16/hr
Company: Hyatt
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16 for a housekeeper in Auburn Hills, MI, is generally considered to be on the lower end of the pay scale for this role. According to various labor market analyses, the average hourly wage for housekeepers in Michigan typically ranges from $15 to $20, with some positions offering higher compensation depending on experience, responsibilities, and the specific employer. While $16/hr may attract entry-level candidates or those seeking part-time work, it may not be competitive enough to attract more experienced professionals or those in high-demand areas. Therefore, this rate could limit the pool of applicants, particularly in a region where the cost of living and labor demands may justify higher wages.
