As our Prime Now program continues to expand, we seek candidates who are enthusiastic about our high-quality products and outstanding customer service. As an In-Store Shopper, you will be an integral member of the Store Support team, assisting in the preparation and fulfillment of Prime Now customer orders for delivery or pickup. You will shop throughout our store, selecting a wide variety of goods including food, household items, and much more.

Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet our customers’ needs, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays when we experience our highest volume of business. We strongly prefer candidates who are available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Availability Requirements:

  • Team Members receive their work schedules up to three weeks in advance.
  • Average shifts range from 4 to 8 hours in length.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in utilizing handheld technology (mobile devices) to fulfill orders.
  • Efficiently and accurately fulfill online orders, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring product and order accuracy.
  • Eager to learn about product offerings, customer service standards, and store operations.
  • Capable of maintaining an organized and clutter-free staging area.
  • Willingness to assist in other store departments as needed, including customer service and cashier duties.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read and communicate in basic English.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand or walk for up to 6 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • In an 8-hour workday: stand or walk for 6-8 hours, sit for 1-4 hours.
  • Hand usage includes single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Requires physical motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and various temperature conditions: 32°F (freezing), 32-40°F (refrigerated), and up to 90°F.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to operate tools and equipment, such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other machinery, and may require the use of ladders.

New entry-level Team Members who successfully complete their first 90 days of employment and remain actively engaged in an eligible role may qualify for a rate increase after their 90-day anniversary.
