We are currently seeking Caregivers for our Senior Living Facility in Fort Gratiot, MI. As a Med Tech/Caregiver at Blue Water Lodge Senior Living Community, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding care and support to our cherished residents. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate flexibility in their working hours, specifically from 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 11 pm. The ability to pass medications is a prerequisite for this position.

Key Responsibilities as a Med Tech/Caregiver include:
– Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
– Administering medications and injections to residents according to physicians’ orders documented in medical charts.
– Maintaining a clean and safe environment, which may include light housekeeping duties.
– Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
– Monitoring residents for any changes in their condition and promptly communicating these changes to the supervisor.
– Assisting residents with repositioning according to the established schedule.
– Accurately documenting medication administration in compliance with established protocols.
– Exercising sound judgment to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
– Supporting other team members in their duties as needed.
– Responding to resident call lights and promptly assessing their needs.
– Assisting with meal service and dining support.
– Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
