Job description:

We are currently seeking a Clinical Dietitian (Hourly-PRN) to join our esteemed Nutrition Team in Grand Blanc, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical nutrition therapy, encompassing nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population.
  • Adhere to all guidelines set forth in the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards from federal, state, and accrediting agencies while respecting facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
  • Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and comprehensive Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs across the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, where required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of hospital experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software is essential.
