The primary responsibility of this position is to sell, fit, and dispense eyewear to customers, ensuring a high standard of service aligns with National Vision’s goals. Key responsibilities include:
– Achieving National Vision’s sales targets and overall company objectives.
– Upholding the National Vision’s Code of Conduct to foster a professional and productive workplace for all associates.
– Actively promoting National Vision’s Mission, Vision, and Values by nurturing an inclusive and respectful atmosphere for both associates and customers.
– Assisting in the dispensing of eyeglasses and contact lenses, adhering to state regulations.
– Conducting insertion and removal training for contact lenses, as permitted by state law.
– Providing education to clients on the proper care of eyewear and contact lenses.
– Maintaining accurate and organized patient records.
– Notifying customers regarding the status of their orders, including readiness or delays.
– Helping customers select eyewear by recommending suitable products based on their lifestyle and prescriptions.
– Managing incoming phone calls according to National Vision protocols, including screening and forwarding as necessary.
– Ensuring all equipment, workstations, and the facility are kept clean and organized, in accordance with safety protocols.
– Following inventory control and loss prevention procedures diligently.
– Maintaining visual merchandising in line with Brand and Company Standards.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
– A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
– Demonstrated selling skills with a strong focus on meeting both store and individual sales targets while adhering to company policies.
– Bilingual abilities are a plus in certain locations.
– The capability to instruct customers in a clear and concise manner.
– A professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees at all levels.

Education requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent.
