Responsibilities:

  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous laundry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership are essential.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination protocols is required.
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended durations.
  • Ability to work around cleaning products is necessary.
  • Must be able to follow both oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
