AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the competitiveness of the hourly rate for a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide in Grand Rapids, MI, we must consider the typical pay range for similar roles in the healthcare industry. As of late 2023, the hourly wage for hospice aides generally ranges from $12 to $17, depending on experience, qualifications, and specific employer. In Grand Rapids, the cost of living is moderate, which suggests that a rate towards the higher end of this spectrum may be more attractive. If the offered rate aligns with or exceeds this range, it would be considered competitive; however, if it falls significantly below, it might struggle to attract qualified candidates. Overall, competitiveness hinges on the specific offered wage relative to both local market conditions and the general industry standards for similar positions.
