Job Title: Line Cook / Prep Cook
Company: Upshift
Location: Dearborn, MI
Pay: $15 – 20 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $20 for a Line Cook / Prep Cook in Dearborn, MI, is generally competitive but may vary based on experience, establishment type, and specific responsibilities. According to recent industry data, the average hourly wage for line cooks in Michigan tends to fall within the $14 – $20 range, with higher-end rates often seen in upscale dining or fast-paced kitchens. Therefore, this pay scale aligns well with local standards, especially for entry-level to moderately experienced positions. However, considering the cost of living in the area, this range may be slightly on the lower end in comparison to some urban markets, where wages might be higher to attract skilled labor. Overall, the offered rate appears reasonable but could be enhanced to better attract and retain talent.
