As a banquet server with Greenleaf Hospitality Group, you will embody the role of an Intention Seeker, dedicated to delivering exceptional service at some of the most significant events in our guests’ lives. You will receive thorough training that equips you with the skills needed to set up, serve, engage with guests, and understand food and beverage offerings, all while proactively anticipating and responding to guest needs. Daily, you will collaborate with a supportive team that values respect, promotes friendly interactions, and embraces a fun working atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve guests at events through various activities, including but not limited to:

    • Carrying trays
    • Serving meals
    • Managing buffet services
    • Clearing dishes
    • Refilling beverages
    • Providing butler service
    • Bartending

  • Set up for events, including but not limited to:

    • Arranging tablecloths, napkins, place settings, guest items, and condiments
    • Designing and decorating buffets and food and beverage stations
  • Engage with guests in a warm, knowledgeable manner.
  • Foster a respectful and supportive environment among team members.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
  • Follow direction from multiple sources effectively.
  • Operate efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.
  • Proactively provide personalized guest experiences.
  • Exceed guest expectations when responding to requests.
  • Uphold service standards as outlined in training.

Qualifications:

Requirements for this Position:

  • Must have open availability; shift days, times, and lengths will vary.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours or more.
  • Capability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds when necessary.
  • Comfort in safely working with potentially hazardous chemicals and equipment.
  • Adherence to safety and health code standards.
  • Capacity to perform repetitive motion tasks.
  • Reliable transportation.
