Job description:

Upshift is seeking motivated individuals to take on the role of Laundry Attendant with the flexibility to choose your own shifts.

As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a vital role in hotel operations by ensuring a continuous supply of clean linens throughout the establishment. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Loading articles into dry-cleaning machines or washers at regular intervals to maintain a steady availability of towels and linens
  • Drying wet, clean items according to specified guidelines
  • Sorting, folding, and hanging clean, dried items
  • Maintaining an inventory of all cleaning supplies

Laundry attendants should be prepared to remain on their feet throughout their entire shift, with the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently. Candidates must be capable of reaching with hands and arms in all directions, as well as kneeling and stooping repeatedly. Good auditory and visual acuity is also required.
