Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and efficient service across both sales and service areas within the department, ensuring that our members enjoy more of what they love for less. You will collaborate closely with fellow associates to meet and exceed member expectations.

What You’ll Do
Be a Team Member: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to fulfill sales and service requests while educating fellow associates on tools, tasks, and resources. You will mentor new technicians and foster strong communication skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.

Be an Expert: Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, and service standards. You will operate equipment proficiently, demonstrate knowledge of Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), product specifications, and implement effective selling techniques both in-person and over the phone.

Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools to drive sales, enhance the service experience, and boost associate engagement. You will employ handheld technology to make informed business decisions regarding services, safety alerts, product information, and training while encouraging others to embrace these tools.

Be an Owner: Communicate effectively regarding the needs for equipment, tools, and supplies to the TBC Lead. Your responsibilities will include tracking returns, processing transactions at cash registers, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring compliance with audit and safety standards. Additionally, you will assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve any issues or concerns.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate by prioritizing the member experience in the TBC area. You will model and promote high-quality service and products while mentoring and inspiring team members to work in a respectful and supportive manner.

You will uphold company policies and ethical standards, utilizing the Open Door Policy in executing business processes. Completing work assignments requires collaboration with managers, co-workers, and customers, while you identify priorities, set deadlines, and communicate progress effectively.
