We are seeking to fill a BARISTA position immediately.
This position is located at 511 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226. Please note that we will only accept applications submitted online.
The role is part-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The establishment is closed on Sundays.
Candidates must possess barista experience.

Job Summary:
The Barista prepares and serves coffee and espresso beverages, as well as related food and beverage items. This role requires adherence to HACCP guidelines and the maintenance of quality food service operations. The Barista will engage with customers and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standardized measures and recipes.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system; handle cash and credit transactions.
- Ensure adequate replenishment of condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining a clean service area.
- Uphold proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures in compliance with HACCP standards.
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
- Prepare food according to approved recipes and prescribed production standards.
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during service.
- Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation before transitioning to other assignments.
- Greet customers courteously and engage with them to ensure satisfaction, relaying relevant concerns to supervisors as needed.
- Serve customers swiftly and efficiently to prevent delays in service.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of daily menu offerings and effectively communicate them to customers.
- Act as an advocate for selling techniques, facilitating communication and assisting customers with their purchasing decisions.
- Ensure all display foods are attractively merchandised according to standards; serve food in a neat and appealing manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
