Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Coordinate and lead teams in both light and heavy housekeeping, as well as laundry aide duties across varying shifts.
  • Facilitate staff training, conduct quality control assessments, and ensure the timely implementation of projects and programs.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment utilizing HCSG computer software.
  • Serve as the liaison between building occupants, administrators, and HCSG staff, ensuring effective communication of directives.
  • Use personal protective equipment appropriately and guarantee the safe handling of cleaning solutions in line with safety protocols.
  • Exhibit consistent attendance and punctuality while completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, coworkers, client staff, residents, and guests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and proficiently communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to execute daily tasks effectively.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Capability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
