AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $15 for a Breakfast Server in Grand Rapids, MI, is generally competitive but may be on the lower side depending on the specific establishment and its clientele. As of 2023, typical pay for similar roles in the region usually ranges from $12 to $18 per hour, with some higher-end or busy establishments offering more to attract experienced staff. Additionally, factors such as tips—often significant in the restaurant industry—can enhance overall earnings. While $15 aligns with basic wage expectations, restaurants that aim for quality service might need to consider increasing compensation to retain talent and meet the demands of the industry.
