Overview:
Refresh Dental in Southfield, MI is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team and contribute to a transformative dental experience centered on exceptional patient care. Our practice, in partnership with North American Dental Group, is dedicated to fostering an environment where empathy is at the forefront of every patient interaction. By ensuring that every visit prioritizes our patients’ needs, we are redefining dental care.

Hours of Operation:
Monday to Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM – 3 PM

Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will play a critical role in creating a reassuring environment for our patients. Key responsibilities include:

– Demonstrating dependability and attention to detail in managing financial information, conducting insurance verifications, and preparing end-of-day reports to keep our patients stress-free.
– Performing various clerical tasks, such as sorting, distributing mail, scanning, and photocopying. You will also answer phone calls, provide accurate information, greet visitors and patients, and manage appointment scheduling, verification, and confirmations.
– Explaining dental procedures and services to patients, leveraging your dental knowledge.
– Presenting financial policies and payment arrangements to patients, including the collection of co-payments and verification of insurance coverage as needed.
– Monitoring appointment schedules and tracking occurrences of no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

– A High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
– 1 to 5 years of experience in customer service, insurance, or the dental field is preferred.
– Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office applications, coupled with the ability to adapt to new technologies as required.
