Job Title: Cook

Company: The Oaks at Jamestown

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $15.67 – 19.58 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly wage range of $15.67 to $19.58 for a Cook in Grand Rapids, MI, is generally considered competitive but falls below the national average for similar positions. As of 2023, the typical pay for cooks in the United States can range from about $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, type of establishment, and specific duties. Given that Michigan’s minimum wage is set to gradually increase in the coming years, this rate could be seen as somewhat low for the region, especially if it doesn’t include additional benefits like tips or health insurance. Overall, while this wage is within the acceptable range for entry-level to moderately experienced cooks in Grand Rapids, it may not attract highly skilled or specialized culinary professionals.
