Job description:
This position is responsible for the preparation of coffee shop beverages and food, as well as the operation of the cash register to process payments efficiently, all while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare coffee shop beverages by brewing, mixing, or blending according to established standards.
– Prepare food items in accordance with company procedures.
– Ensure the safe handling of food and beverages by adhering to established guidelines, and maintain a clean work environment.
– Operate the cash register to accurately itemize customer purchases and process various forms of payment, including cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates, and coupons.
– Stock items and rotate coffee products and merchandise displays as necessary.
– Maintain familiarity with current store programs and product locations.
– Understand the operation of the cash register and coffee shop equipment to ensure efficiency.
– Communicate any needs for product and supply orders to the department lead or manager.
– Comply with company policies regarding security, cash handling, product management, and maintenance of a clean and well-stocked department.
– Ensure adherence to company safety and sanitation standards.
– Effectively communicate company programs, in-store specials, and promotions to customers while exemplifying high service standards.
– Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety guidelines, along with food safety and cleaning expectations.

Qualifications:
– Preferred high school diploma or GED.
